Huawei’s 2018 roadmap was leaked recently which displayed three P-series smartphones releasing in the first quarter of 2018.
Keeping a track of Huawei’s previous launch patterns, the company showcased the new phones from ChinaZ is most likely to come true. The report informs the flagship will have at least four -P20, P20 Plus, P20 Pro and P20 Lite. The P20 is said to be the successor to the Huawei P10 and is expected to come with three cameras at the rear and facial recognition technology better than Apple’s face ID. The top model is set to come with an iPhone X like a notch.
According to the information, Huawei P11 will be equipped with Samsung 6.01-inch display, and maybe the same as the iPhone X with a full-shaped screen design, equipped with unicorn 970 processor and pre-installed Android 8.0.1 system. In the recent two years, the competition between Huawei and Apple has become more and more fierce. Especially after Huawei surpassed Apple in the first half of this year, such competition has entered a white-hot state.
The Huawei P20 and P20 Plus will be powered by the AI focused Kirin 970 processor which already powers the likes of the Honor V10 and the Huawei Mate 10 series. The P20 Pro, on the other hand, will come with a newer and more powerful Kirin 975 processor.
All three smartphones will come with 6GB of RAM and at least 64GB of internal storage. The P20, P20 Plus, and P20 Pro will come with three rear cameras at the back with a resolution of 40MP and 5X hybrid zoom.
The representation displays all the three smartphones coming with bezel-less design and triple camera setup at the rear. It looks like the Huawei P20 has a horizontal camera setup and the P20 Plus and P20 Pro have a vertical camera setup. Apart from the camera setup, the P20 and P20 Plus seem to have very similar designs with a fingerprint sensor on the front.
According to the information, Huawei will release its flagship phones from the P series on February 26 at the Mobile World Congress.
