Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which was released in January this year, has received a permanent price cut of ₹1,000. The pricing for the device now starts at ₹9,999 for the 3GB RAM /32 GB storage variant.
The announcement was made by Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain on Sunday through his Twitter account. “we are announcing a permanent price drop of ₹1,000 on India’s #1 selling smartphone: #RedmiNote4 [sic],” Jain tweeted.
As a result of the price cut, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage is priced at ₹9,999, while the variant with 4GG RAM, 64 GB onboard storage is now available at ₹11,999. The price drop is applicable on both Mi.com and Flipkart. Moreover, the newest price drop makes Redmi Note 4 a more competitive option against models like Moto G5, Nokia, and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016).

Flipkart has listed some offers o the Redmi Note 4 to give it an edge over the competition. Customers can exchange their existing models to get an exchange worth ₹11,000. Also, five percent discount is available on orders purchased through Axis Bank Buzz credit cards. The online marketplace is permitting its users to pay the amount using the no-cost EMI options at a monthly installment of ₹2,000.
