The Airtel ₹289 prepaid recharge plan arrives with 1GB of daily 4G data, unlimited voice calls, listing both local, STD and roaming, and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 48 days. Also, this Airtel ₹289 prepaid recharge plan has been launched in direct competition to Idea Cellular’s ₹295 prepaid plan which comes with a validity of 42 days. Moreover, the Airtel ₹289 prepaid recharge plan can be availed on any handset since it is applicable for 2G, 3G, and 4G users.
In addition, Bharti Airtel also has its ₹299 prepaid plan which comes with a validity of 45 days and since it is a voice-only plan, subscribers get unlimited voice calls for the whole validity period without any FUP limit.
Again, talking of this Airtel ₹289 prepaid recharge plan, it should be noted that it is a pan India recharge plan for Airtel subscribers and the voice calling benefits doesn’t come with any FUP limits. Again, on the other hand, Idea Cellular’s ₹295 prepaid plan comes with a FUP limit of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week on voice calling.
To know more, this plan is primarily meant for users who intend to place a lot of voice calls, and has no fair-usage policy on the voice calling. Furthermore, this plan is also available for users across the country, rather than limited to only certain circles. The plan is ideally suited for feature phone users, but even the basic smartphone users would benefit from this plan, courtesy, the availability of 1GB of data. However, compared to the other data-centric plans by Airtel, this 1GB over 48 days might be not much less an amount.
