Airtel is yet back again with its latest scheme in the telecom sector to take over Reliance Jio. The company is constantly revising its talk plans, and has also made it mandatory to recharge with at least Rs 35 in every 28 days to keep the connection active. While Airtel has recently removed the ₹549 and ₹799 prepaid recharges, it has introduced its latest ₹419 prepaid plan with voice and data benefits.
Now this would be an open market plan available to all users in Airtel’s telecom circles. Talking about the benefits, Airtel is offering unlimited local and national calling without any FUP. The plan also includes 100 free SMS daily.
The validity of Airtel ₹419 prepaid plan is 75 days, where users would get 1.4GB high-speed 4G data daily. This means users can download up to 105GB data during the validity period. If a 4G network isn’t available, it would fall back to 3G or 2G, whatever is available first.
Airtel also has a ₹399 prepaid plan that offers unlimited calls, and 1.4GB daily data. However, the validity of this plan is 70 days. Also, the plan benefits changes from user to user, while some get 70 days validity, some would get 84 days validity in different circle.
Airtel’s ₹419 plan would again closely compete with two of prepaid plans from Reliance Jio. The telco has already introduced ₹398 and ₹399 plans, both offering unlimited local and national calling, unlimited SMS (100 per day) and complimentary access to Jio app suite. The data benefits and validity are something that would change between both the plans. The ₹398 plan offers 70 days validity and 2GB daily data, whereas the ₹399 plan offers 1.5GB daily data and 84 days validity.
