Another spark added to the ever raging telecom war, referring to the recent Vodafone-Idea Cellular merger. For instance, Airtel has also introduced combo recharge packs of ₹35, ₹65 and ₹95. So, now, the telco has expanded this combo series and has rolled out a new recharge pack for ₹97.
These recent combo plans by Airtel states of calling benefits with data and longer period of validity. In fact, this might be a strategy to counter Reliance Jio. Talking of this ₹97 plan, Airtel wants to compete against the ₹98 recharge pack of Reliance Jio.
This latest ₹97 plan, offers 350 minutes of local, STD and roaming voice calls. Along with this, Airtel subscribers would also receive 1.5GB data and 200 local and STD SMS under the plan. This new plan claims validity of 28 days. So, in order to get this plan, Airtel users need to go to the official website or use the My Airtel app.
More on Airtel states about its ₹419 plan for its prepaid subscribers. Airtel has introduced this ₹419 prepaid plan and is an upgrade to the ₹399 plan. This plan states of 1.4GB data and 100 SMS per day. Along with this, users would also get unlimited local and STD calling for the period of 75 days.

Airtel ₹35 prepaid combo recharge pack: The combo recharge pack offers 100MB of 3G/ 4G data along with a talk time of ₹26.66. The local and STD calls are charged at 1p/sec and validity period is for 28 days.
Airtel ₹65 prepaid combo recharge pack: This pack provides a data limit of 200MB along with a talk time of ₹65. The local and STD calls are charged at 1p/sec and the validity period is for 28 days.
Airtel ₹95 prepaid combo recharge pack: Buyers get 500MB of 3G/ 4G data along with a talk time of ₹95 with this pack. The local and STD calls are charged at 1 paise per 2 seconds and here this validity period is for 28 days.
