The trending news this time from the telecom sector states of Airtel launches its latest plan for prepaid customers. With the value of the plan as stated as ₹181, the validity of the plan ensures 14 days.

This new ₹181 prepaid plan is available only for selected subscribers, especially in New Delhi and a few other circles in North India. However, BSNL and Jio once offered this much data under ₹200, but however, these plans were only promotional and did not last for long.

To compare, this latest Airtel plan competes with Reliance Jio offer of ₹198 which comes with a validity of 28 days. The prepaid Jio plan offers 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls without any limit and 100 SMS per day and complimentary subscription to Jio’s suite of apps for 28 days.

Now, talking of Vodafone, it has its prepaid plan of ₹199, which comes with a validity of 28 days. It offers unlimited calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and just 1.4GB data per day. There is in fact another Airtel plan of ₹199 also which offers 1.4GB data per day with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day, with a validity of 28 days.

To look back, Reliance Jio has rolled out a ₹149 prepaid plan back in June that offered 3GB data per day. The recharge plan however, was a one-time thing, bearing a validity of 15 days.

Recently, Airtel has also launched its trail of smart recharges in values of ₹25, ₹35, ₹65, ₹95, ₹145 and ₹245. This ₹25 plan comes with 28 days validity. The plan also offers 10MB 3G / 4G data, and a talk time of 18.69. The next plan is priced at ₹35 which offers talk time worth of ₹26.6, the validity of 28 days, and 100MB data.
