Leading telecom operator Airtel has now launched out a new plan for its prepaid users. The telecom operator has now rolled out the ₹93 plan for its prepaid subscribers. The telco is proffering unlimited local and STD calling, 100 SMS per day and 1GB data under the ₹93 plan. The new data plan comes with the validity of 10 days.
The company further suggests that customers will be permitted to make 250 minutes of calls daily and 1000 minutes weekly. In case any user exceeds the limit then they will be charged at the rate of 30 paise per minute. Along with this, customers are not permitted to make calls to more than 300 unique numbers.
Airtel also introduces its new plan that directly competes with the ₹98 plan of Reliance Jio. Under the ₹98 plan Reliance, Jio is offering unlimited local and STD calls, 140SMS per day and 2.1GB data. The plan comes with the validity of 14 days.
Previously on today airtel declared that it has revamped its Airtel TV app. The telco has also declared the entire range of the content catalog handy on Airtel TV. The company also added that Airtel postpaid and prepaid customers will get a free subscription to the service until June 2018. In order to utilize the offer, the Airtel customers just have to download and install the Airtel T.V app is handy for iOS and Android platforms.
During the launch the CEO of Wynk, Sameer Barta said, “We are thrilled to introduce the latest version of Airtel TV with great content and an improved, intuitive User Interface. The improvements to the app are a result of constantly listening to our customers and taking their feedback to the design table. We believe that we have built an app for India’s needs and backed it with a large and exciting content catalog to serve the fastest growing screen – the smartphone”.
