The Indian automobile industry seems to be prepared to take a leap through technology. As a precursor to this, Nissan India just launched a suite of connectivity services, called Nissan Connect to facilitate the life of its customers. Nissan Connect can be accessed through Android, iOS and Windows platforms. The suite is designed to offer a host of conveniences including navigation directions, safety guidelines and road side information to Nissan customers.
Thus, with this set of apps, it is now difficult to miss a scheduled service, as it provides service booking alert, fuel log, detailed service history, document log and much more. Nissan Connect also proves helpful in locating nearby fuel stations, servicing centers and Nissan dealerships while one is on the go.

According to veterans in the country’s automobile industry, this is something new that the Indian customers have not experienced before. The Nissan Connect has been carefully crafted to include a host of helpful features. Apart from those mentioned above, the utility suite also includes speed alert feature. Customers can activate max speed, boundary alert and curfew on the app. They will receive instant notifications whenever those set limits are exceeded.
To avoid scratches and dents on the car surface, the utility suite has a Geo fencing alert feature. It notifies the driver whenever the vehicle goes out of the set boundary area. Nissan Connect also offers roadside assistance in case of medical emergency or mechanical breakdown of the vehicle.
Car manufacturing brands like Honda and Toyota have already launched this kind of utility suite. Now, Nissan has also joined the club. Experts see this as a great opportunity to modernize the Indian automobile industry at par with the European and American standards.
