BSNL has hit the headlines again after the launch of its ₹39 pack that provides unlimited calls to its subscribers. This time, the state-owned telecom honcho has launched its new prepaid recharge pack of ₹118, offering unlimited voice calls and data benefits for a validity of 28 days.

As per reports, this new pack is especially for its prepaid customers who can avail up to 1GB of data, unlimited voice call benefits, and a validity of 28 days to use it. Also, this pack has been introduced to take on Jio’s ₹98 recharge pack that offers almost similar benefits. To know more about this Jio pack of ₹98, this offers unlimited voice calls, 2GB of data, and 300 SMS’es for a validity of 28 days. In addition, while the Jio pack offers Jio apps subscription, BSNL is also giving its users access to a free PRBT tune. Also, once the recharge is done, the BSNL signature tune gets activated automatically for free. BSNL would charge for any other PRBT tune if the customer wishes to customize it.


More on the ₹118 BSNL pack states that this is available in many circles including Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, and more. The pack also offers unlimited voice calls on roaming network as well, except for Mumbai and Delhi telecom circles. After the 1GB data is over, BSNL would also charge its standard rates on data usage.

As discussed before, BSNL also has a prepaid recharge pack of ₹39 to counter Jio’s pack of ₹49. So, under this BSNL’s pack of ₹39, customers get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. The pack also offers 100 SMSes per day. Customers would also get PRBT with the offer and is offered for a validity of 10 days.
