BSNL recently introduced its two new broadband plans which is applicable for both the existing as well as the new customers. This time the state run telecom operator has regularized its ₹777 and ₹1,277 fixed line broadband plans for all consumers. These two broadband plans were introduced back in June as a promotional offer for 90 days.
To know more, BSNL usually introduces such promotional plans in mobile prepaid and postpaid tariffs as well, and thus now based on consumer interest, the telecom operator decides whether to keep them going after 90 days or not. Now, talking of BSNL’s ₹777 and ₹1,277 broadband plans, these were only offered to new users coming to BSNL, but from today on wards, these would be also available to the existing BSNL broadband subscribers as well.
The ₹777 broadband plan is known as BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 777, whereas the Rs 1,277 broadband plan is known as BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 1277. The ₹777 plan offers a FUP of 500GB per month with speeds of 50Mbps. The ₹1,277 broadband plan offers 100Mbps speeds and 750GB of FUP. Now, after this FUP, the data speed drops to 2Mbps and users won’t be charged for extra data also.
To know more, both these plans are claimed valid across the country, except for Andaman & Nicobar telecom circle. BSNL is however, collecting security deposit in some circles for these plans. Consumers also have an option of paying for an entire year i.e. 12 months, 2 years or 3 years for these plans in advance, and they would also save some money on it. In the case of this ₹777 plan, consumers would be required to pay ₹8,547 for 12 months. The same plan can be availed for two and three years by paying ₹16,317 and ₹23,310 respectively.
