Finally, it’s the time for India. Recently, Dell has launched its new XPS 13 in India, which is supposedly the American laptop manufacturer’s latest high-end productivity laptop. To look back, this was unveiled only last month at CES 2018 and has now been launched in India with prices starting at ₹94,790.
To delve deep, this Dell XPS 13 has confirmed its availability in three variants, with the Core i7 variants priced a bit higher. This states that mainly depending on the screen resolution, the Core i7 variant is fixed at ₹1,41,490 for the full-HD variant and ₹1,59,790 for the ultra-HD variant. Further, this XPS 13 would debut its online sale on February 6, and offline through Dell, Croma and Reliance Digital stores from February 20.

This Dell XPS 13 is the premier device of the product range and boasts of a slimmer, lighter and more portable design. The laptop also promises a 13.3-inch screen which is HDR-capable if looking for the UHD variant and also features an 8th generation Intel Core processor. The variants in India have been launched with 512GB SSD drives for storage, extending up to 16GB of RAM, GORE thermal insulation for better heat dissipation and the Dell Cinema experience built into the device. The last enlists features like CinemaColor, CinemaSound, and CinemaStream to the premium laptop.
This new Dell XPS 13 also sports much of an improved design, featuring a combination of metal and fiberglass, i.e. for the white variant or carbon fiber, for the black variant. Interestingly, Dell has also launched the previous generation of the XPS 13 less than two months ago, making this upgrade a better than the previous one.
The new XPS 13 arrived just about a month after its global launch at CES 2018 and now will compete directly on price and be positioned with the recently launched Lenovo Yoga 920.
