With this, in lieu of this partnership, Vodafone has also rolled out cashback offers on the select range of entry-level 4G Smartphone models to be made available under Flipkart’s #MyFirst4GSmartphone campaign.
Vodafone also added that all the Vodafone prepaid customers who would purchase any entry-level smartphone, available on Flipkart, is entitled to avail a cashback offer. This is the newest offer to be added in the series of offers for the past few months by Telcos that have arrived with cashback offers on their tariff plans and even on their alliances with smartphone makers, to rope in more subscribers.
For this, Subscribers would have to recharge for at least ₹150 per month for 36 months where the recharges could be of any denomination totaling to a minimum of ₹150 per month. Also, at the end of 18 months, customers would receive a total cash back of ₹900 and after another 18 months, a cash back of ₹1,100 respectively, thus availing a total cash back of ₹2000. The cash back would be credited to their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets, enabling them to transact digitally or withdraw cash, as per their convenience.
To this, Avneesh Khosla, associate director – consumer Business, Vodafone India, added that “This is an initiative to make 4G smartphones available at a never before price points and thus, democratize access to Vodafone SuperNet 4G. It will also encourage current non-users of 4G to upgrade and enjoy a richer user experience with Vodafone SuperNet 4G”.
