Samsung hits the headlines this time with the launch of the Galaxy S8 in a brand new color i.e. Burgundy Red and this is one is really very stylish. The initial availability has been commenced in South Korea from 28th November, before rolling out to the selected markets.

This strikingly new and lustrous color option by Samsung had been announced a few weeks back, with the announcement video strongly hinting that the company took some obvious inspiration from the changing color of leaves occurring at this time of year. Apart from this, the Galaxy S8’s availability had been confirmed in colors like Midnight Black, Arctic Silver, and Orchid Grey.

Apart from the color, everything else about the phone remains the same with bezel-less design, powered by Snapdragon 835, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a 12 MP rear camera, and of course Bixby, Samsung’s virtual assistant that can be summoned with the Bixby button on the side. What’s great about the new color choice is that, in addition to the back, it also envelops the aluminum frame and buttons as well.

Now, this is quite an interesting decision on the part of the Samsung to release the Galaxy S8 in a new color at this point, seeing how the phone is almost eight months old. But, even after this, the phone still holds up well, and the Burgundy Red option is definitely a looker.
