Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has finally confirmed the launch of the Honor 7S in India, following a recent report by industry sources which claimed that it would be launched in the first week of September. The company has already started teasing about the smartphone on its website and interestingly has in fact launched a contest for users to win the smartphone. The Honor 7S is speculated to be the same as the Honor Play 7 launched in China in May this year. This time the Honor 7S is making its arrival in the Indian market and in all probability, the company should reveal pricing and availability details of the smartphone anytime soon.

Talking about the contest, Honor is running a Spin to Win contest on its website, giving users a chance to win the upcoming Honor 7S, as well as the already launched Honor PlayHonor 9N, and the Honor Band 3. For this, users just need to sign up to play the game, where they would get three chances to spin the wheel every day and try their luck. Users need to share this on the social media and thus this increases the chances to spin the wheel. The contest would run till September 7. While the Honor 7S price is not yet known, the Honor 9N is priced at ₹13,999, the Honor Play is priced at ₹9,999 and the Honor Band 3 priced at ₹2,499.

As speculated, the majority of the specifications of the Honor 7S remain identical to the Honor Play 7, however, there’s a slight downgrade in the selfie camera department.
