After the launch of Reliance Jio on the previous year the existing operators such as Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea Cellular have tried to compete and strengthen their foothold in the market by offering discounts and reducing tariff plans. Free mobile internet data has been one such initiative that operators have banked upon to retain and expand it is subscriber base.

In the same move, Bharti Airtel, over the weekend, declared that it will be offering its postpaid customers up to 60 GB of free mobile internet 4G data. To utilize this offer, postpaid users need to install the ‘Airtel TV’ application from either the Google Play store or Apple’s App store and select on the ‘My Airtel’ app.

According to the plan, Airtel will offer 10 GB 4G data free per month for coming six months totalling to 60 GB.

Bharti Airtel said that the new offer is identical to the Airtel Monsoon offer announced three months before. The Monsoon offer included 10 GB of free data to postpaid customers with a validity of three months. The telecom giant provided an impressive range of data packs from Rs. 8 all the way till Rs. 399 for its prepaid users.
