HongKong based smartphone making company Infinix has recently launched its latest smartphone in India. The prices for this Android-One certified smartphone is supposed to be starting from 9,999, ensuring its availability from August 31.
Infinix Note 5: Price and availability
Infinix Note 5 buyers would be spoilt for options between two variants. The base variant with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM, priced at ₹9,999. The top variant with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM is priced at ₹11,999. The Color variants include Milan Black, Berlin Gray, and Ice Blue. Also, this smartphone would be going on sale from August 31, exclusively via Flipkart. Reliance Jio customers would, in fact, receive 500GB of free data, and up to ₹2,200 worth of cashback via recharge vouchers.
Infinix Note 5: Specs and features
Talking about the specs and features, the Infinix Note 5 boasts of a 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160×1080 pixels) IPS display with a 2.5D curved screen and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is an Helio P23 octa-core chipset paired with 2.5GHz. The internal memory can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
For camera features, the device is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. Up front, there is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
This flagship device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. There is also a fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB OTG.
Being an Android One-certified device, the Infinix Note 5 runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. In fact, this should also be in line to soon get the latest Android 9 Pie update.
