Intel has come up with the descriptions of its latest desktop processors, a family of Intel i9 Core X-Series chips, meant for the high-end desktop market.

The salient features of this chip cover almost 18-core processors including the Core i9-7920X, Intel Core i9-7940X, Intel Core i9-7960X, and the ultimate edition of Intel Core i9-7980XE.

As per the reports by Intel, these desktop chips will provide service to virtual reality applications, content creators, gamers, and over-locking hobbyists.

Intel has described its desktop processors at Computex. Talking of strategies, Intel’s rollout is important in the sense that a revival by longtime rival AMD Intel’s X-series processor family is mainly developed for workloads of different kinds.  Further, speculations are also on the rift that this Intel processor is the new AMD ‘Threadripper killer’.

The tentative date for the availability of the twelve Core X-series is set for 28Th August and 14 to 18-core processors will be made available from September 25th. Now, get a glimpse of the specifications from the list below:
