Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio may roll out its high-speed Jio Fiber services in the NCR very soon. As of the beginning, the service will cover the state of Delhi, along with the satellite townships of Noida and Gurgaon in the bordering states of UP and Haryana, respectively. The JioFiber service will provide free 100 GB data for a span of three months.

However, nothing has been officially declared by the telecom service provider, as yet. A highly well-placed source in the corporate organization revealed on the condition of anonymity that the business outfit issued an internal note lately over the issue. The note stated the company will install the necessary infrastructure to facilitate ultra high-speed Internet services in some residential societies across the region.

Moreover, it also came to light that the necessary infrastructure-laying work at a residential society should not go beyond a two-week tenure. In this context, one may recall a recent statement, made by the Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries, Mr. Mukesh Ambani. He made it clear, for Reliance Jio, the next big profit-making zone lies in optical fiber and fixed land broadband. He was also quoted to have said on the occasion, “Jio remains on track to bring optic fiber connectivity to enterprises, home, and public place. Most infrastructure is already in place.”

According to further unconfirmed news, Reliance Jio is mainly targeting the high-rise residential buildings and the corporate establishments to work out its second phase of the expansion program. By December this year, Reliance Jio targets to achieve 100 such connections across the region.

It is furthermore claimed, the note mentions a refundable security deposit of INR 4,500 for the customers to access the high-speed WiFi connectivity, based on the latest technology. Reliance Jio Fiber will encompass services like live and catch-up TV on a large screen, gaming and surveillance, home automation, fixed voice, and media share.

It may be noted here, the high-speed Jio Fiber Network can carry data up to a speed of 1 GBPS. Apart from the National Capital Region, the service is expected to roll out to all the metro cities in the country.
