The talks and speculations regarding the much awaited Nokia 9 have been going rounds for quite a while now. Yet, HMD Global has yet to unveil it. In fact, till now, it seems that the only flagship known from HMD Global was the Nokia 8 Sirocco. But right now, the latest news regarding this much-awaited flagship phone by Nokia states of a new leak that boasts of a triple camera system, similar to the one on the recently unveiled Huawei H20 Pro.
This mega-leak of the Nokia 9 was first seen on Slashleaks, where a data sheet detailing each and every detail of the phone with an alleged render was spotted. However, the image looks quite unreal, and might as well be doubted if at all Nokia 9 would resemble this.
Now, a more detailed view of the specs and features:
As per the leaked image, the Nokia 9 is said to sport a 6.01-inch AMOLED display panel with 18:9 aspect ratio. The back of the phone is said to have a ceramic finish with 18-carat gold accents surrounding the camera module.
Further, the image also suggests that the Nokia 9 would also sport a triple camera system. In fact, it is also said to have a 41MP camera sensor with Xenon + LED flash, previously seen on the Nokia 808 PureView.
In addition, there’s a 20MP telephoto lens based camera supported by a 9.7MP monochrome sensor. Similar to the existing Nokia phones, this one would also boast of Zeiss optics. For selfies, it would have a 21MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture.
As the leak suggests, the Nokia 9 would feature the flagship grade Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Specifications also reveal a huge 3900mAh battery with Qualcomm’s quick charge and Qi wireless charge support.
To conclude, if the leaks really turn out to be true, it is going to be a powerhouse with tons of camera prowess. Huawei has recently launched the first triple camera phone and seems like Nokia is preparing to raise the bar with an even, more powerful camera.
