Recently, India has witnessed the launch of Redmi Note 5 Pro in India with enthralling features like thin-bezel display and a dual rear camera set up, and all these at affordable price tags.

Obviously, this is not the end of the story. Even after wooing the audience with its features, the Redmi Note 5 Pro would have to go head to head with the likes of the Honor 9 Lite, recently launched in Europe and India.

So, to delve deep, the main points of comparison between these devices remains their processor, camera, battery, memory variants and of course the price. In lieu of that, let’s take a quick glance at the features and comparison of both the smartphones:

The Xiaomi Note 5 Pro is backed by processor Snapdragon 636 while in case of the Honor 9 Lite, it is a Kirin 659 Chipset.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro features a dual camera setup on the back with 15 and 5 MP sensors for those fancy bokeh shots. Further, the front-facing camera has a 20 MP sensor sporting an LED flash, allowing users to capture great-looking selfies even in low-light conditions.

Here, it needs special mentioning that the Honor 9 Lite has much excelled in the photography section with four cameras. This states that 13 and 2 MP sensors would be placed on the front as well as on the back, allowing users to add the bokeh effect to images and selfies.

The 4,000 mAh battery of the Redmi Note 5 Pro fetches around 14 hours of video playback and again 8 hours of continuous gaming for the users.

However, the Honor 9 Lite packs a much smaller 3,000 mAh battery but here it also needs mentioning that the display is much smaller than when compared to the above one.

Redmi Note 5 Pro boasts of a 4/6 GB of RAM leading to 64 GB memory. This is again expandable up to 256 GB, which is similar to the 3/4 GB, leading to 32/64 GB memory expandable up to 256 GB of the Honor 9 Lite.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India is set at ₹13,999 for the variant with 4GB RAM and ₹16,999 for the 6GB RAM option. Further, color options for the Redmi Note 5 Pro include Black, Gold, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold colors.

This when compared to the Honor 9 Lite is priced at ₹14,999, ensuring availability in three color options listing Sapphire Blue, Glacier Grey, and Midnight Black.

Of course, the above-mentioned specs are not the ultimate parameters for judging and choosing the smartphone of the user’s choice. But, never the less would definitely serve as a great help.
