It was only in the previous month, when Reliance Jio completed its two years, in addition to hitting the milestone of 250 million users. To celebrate the anniversary, and also to extend the greetings to the subscribers, Reliance Jio rolled out its latest Jio Celebrations Pack for the users.

Under this Celebration Pack, subscribers were able to enjoy 2GB data per day for four days during the month of September. The telco also announced that it would credit another 8GB of free data in users account in October. Now, the telco has kept it word and started its second installment of the Celebrations Pack which would go on till October 30, however, the validity of this plan would vary from user to user.

reliance-jio-celebrations-pack To check whether or not the free data has been credited, users need to visit the My Jio app on the smartphone. Next, a tap on the hamburger menu on the top left, and then a second tap on ‘My Plans’ section. If the complementary data pack is activated, users would be able to view the ‘Jio Celebrations Pack’ with 2GB data daily along with the expiry of the plan.

As noted by the publication, different users might receive the Celebrations pack at different times. Jio had announced a total of 16GB data, meaning 8GB per month. Also, even if the time of addition could be different, the benefits would remain the same at 8GB.


Recently, Jio also launched the Diwali Celebration offer where the telecom operator is offering 100 percent discount on prepaid recharge plans, where the discount would be given in the form of Reliance Digital coupons. It would be available on prepaid plans priced above ₹149. The company also introduced a special recharge plan priced at ₹1,699.

The plan offers 365 days validity, along with unlimited local and national calling without any FUP, unlimited roaming and 100 free SMS daily. In addition, the plan also offers 1.5GB high-speed daily data, after which the speed would die down to 64Kbps.
