The device is expected to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based Samsung Experience out of the box. Naturally, an update to Android 8.0(Oreo) is likely in the device’s future. The device is a VR- friendly flip phone and comes with 2,300mAh battery. According to the rumors, the device will sport 12-megapixel main camera with Auto-focus, Digital Zoom, and Video Recording. The smartphone also has a front-facing 5megapixel camera capable of shooting selfies. This phone should be able to handle even the most demanding games and HD video.

The Chinese branch of the Samsung company has already confirmed that the W2018 will be officially declared in the Far Eastern country on Friday, December 1st, which is also when the company is expected to share more information about the availability and the price of the device.
A mid-December release presently seems likely and would be in line with Samsung’s previous product release practices pertaining to its flip phone lineup. For much the same reasons, most industry watchers don’t believe the W2018 will ever make its way out of China in an official capacity.
