Snapchat

Snapchat will now allow users to delete sent messages before they are opened. The company plans to roll the feature out to some people starting from today. It is also expected that within next weeks it will reach out to all users.

How to delete the message?

To delete a sent message, simply press and hold on the media (text, audio, photo, etc.) you want to get rid of and a pop-up will appear asking if you want to delete. Just tap, and the content in question will disappear. The person you sent the message to will still get a notification that something was sent to them and deleted. But as long as it was never opened in the first place, they won’t know what it was.

Other offers

Snapchat has also announced that it is expanding the availability of its second-generation Spectacles to Amazon. In contrast to the original product, the newer sunglasses are slimmer, can take photos, and are water resistant. The second-gen Spectacles launched exclusively on Spectacles.com. But they should be handy to buy from Amazon sometime today, joining the older model which is also handy from the online retailer.

If you want to grab a pair, Snapchat’s new Spectacles are priced at $149.99 in the US. Spectacles are offered in the same three colors you can get from Snap directly:
– onyx moonlight
– sapphire twilight, and
– ruby daybreak.
