Perhaps the most expensive wearable of the year is here. Talking of 2017, Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 was definitely one of the most expensive and premium-looking Android watches. But, now it seems that this wasn’t really the most luxurious version of the watch.

The latest announcement by Connected Modular 41 states of a ‘Full Diamond’ version of the 2017’s Modular 45. This is polished with white gold, featuring an obscene 589 diamonds beside its strap and bezel.

Apart from the basic differences, more or less this is the same device that has been launched last year with both interchangeable lugs and bands.

Though not yet confirmed, it is expected that both these variants would have the same internals, meaning a 1.39-inch 400 x 400 display on the front likely.

Other specs and features of the smartwatch:

Again, not very sure, but this might also have 512MB of RAM with 4GB of storage on board. There is also GPS, NFC for Android Pay and 50 meters of water resistance if the users would be confident enough to take this watch anywhere near a swimming pool.

Now, talking about the diamonds, 78 VVS baguette size diamonds would be found within the bezel itself. With this, there would be then 16 more sitting inside the lugs, while the bracelet itself would have 495 diamonds and that sums up to a total of 23.35 carats across the entire watch.

Alongside that, users would also get to see a Calibre 5 mechanical watch module that they would be able to connect to the strap instead. It’s also adorned with gemstones but won’t run Android Wear.

The free watch is a nice little touch considering the diamond Modular 45 is set to launch at $180,000, although the device is unlikely to have a wide release considering the price.
