The addition of business profiles and new messaging tools focused at business customers is part of the company’s broader plan to generate revenue by charging larger enterprises for advanced tools to communicate with customers on the platform now used by over a billion people worldwide.

Business Profiles will help the customers with useful information such as a business description, email or store addresses, and website.
The users can save their time with smart messaging tools. Quick replies that provide fast answers to frequently asked questions. Greeting messages that introduce the customers to your business and away message will let them know that you are busy.
Review simple metrics like the number of messages read to see what is working.
It will help the users to send and receive messages with WhatsApp Business on your Desktop.
It will let people know that they are talking about a business because you will be listed as a Business Account. Over time, some business will have Confirmed Accounts once it is been confirmed that the account phone number matches the business phone number.
