The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has announced to launch the latest range of product, Mi Mix 2 on September 11. Mi Mix 2, as the name implies, is the successor to the Beijing-based electronic manufacturer’s Mi Mix series, which was launched last year. An official post on Weibo, attributed to Xiaomi, also confirms the venue of the launching will be the University of Technology Gymnasium in Beijing. Although the timing of the event was not mentioned in the post.
According to market experts, this is a significant development. Apple is scheduled to launch its latest range of iPhone 8 just a day after the Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2 launching. The speculation is going ripe that Xiaomi is totally geared up to give the US-based manufacturer a run for the money.
The upcoming Mi Mix 2 is expected to possess captivating features to stand out in the competitive market. Just like its predecessor, Mi Mix, it will also have an edge-to-edge and bezel-less display. Moreover, the new product’s 6.4 inches screen and a stunning 91.3% screen to body ratio are expected to take the Mi Mix 2 miles ahead of the commercial success of its predecessor.
It may be recalled here, the Xiaomi Managing Director, Mr. Manu Kumar Jain recently tweeted about the upcoming launch of the Mi Mix 2. The smartphone will come with 6 GB RAM, Android Nougat Operating System and powered by Snapdragon 835 processor.
