Xiaomi plans to launch its first dual-camera smartphone in India this September. The announcement was made the Xiaomi India’s managing director, Mr. Manu Kumar Jain on Monday. However, the Xiaomi boss did not mention the model of the dual camera smartphone that will be launched. In this circumstance, speculation is ripe that Xiaomi Mi 5X model is the best option for launching in India.

In fact, Mr. Jain posted a teaser in his twitter comment about the launching of the first dual-phone Xiaomi smartphone.

It may be mentioned in the ongoing context, the Xiaomi Mi 5X is a mid-range, dual SIM handset launched in China in July. It supports nano SIMs and comes with a 5.5 inch full-HD screen with spellbound graphics quality. The handset is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and has 4 GB RAM. The rear camera of the handset features a 12 MP wide-angle lens, along with another 12 MP telephoto lens for professional photography. At the front, there is a 5 MP camera that can capture breathtaking selfies.

The Xiaomi Mi 5X has an inbuilt storage capacity of 64 GB, which can be expandable through a microSD card, up to 128 GB. The handset also supports 4G VoLTE connectivity along with dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Port C, 3.5 mm earphone jack. It is powered by a 3080 mAh battery, which lasts quite long. The handset is available in three colour variants, namely gold, pink and black. The price of the handset, when converted to Indian currency comes around INR 14,200. Market experts are of the opinion that the manufacturer will leave the cost intact for the Indian audience as well.
