Xiaomi is soon expected to launch MI Max 3, a successor of its Mi Max 2 phablet. At first, it was informed that the phone could come with a massive 7-inch full display. Now it seems that the massive tablet-like display confirmed.

Display and processor

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 might sport a 7-inch display bigger screen size than the Mi Max 2 with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 635 chipset.Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is manufactured with 14 nm process technology and will feature an octa-core Kryo processor. The GPU on the chipset is also expected to be 20 percent more powerful as compared to its predecessor


The handset is said to come in two configurations- one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and another one with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.



The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 could sport a 12-megapixel rear camera sensor and a front-facing 5-megapixel sensor. The report also suggests that the Mi Max 3 might have a dual camera setup at the back.


The report informs that the smartphone will have 5500 mAh battery. It will also support for reverse charging and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. There are no details regarding the software on the Mi Max 3, although it can be expected to arrive with the latest MIUI 9.

Price and availability

The company has not yet revealed when the Mi Max 3 will hit the market. According to the information, the Mi Max 3 will launch in June. The smartphone is expected to come with a price tag of Yuan 1,699 (₹16,865 approx).
