After much speculations and teasers, the Xiaomi Poco F1 is now finally launched in India. Though the initial starting price has been fixed at ₹20,999, for the HDFC bank debit or credit card holders, it might be as low as ₹19,999. The Poco F1 has already received the title of becoming the world’s first and only smartphone to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and still costing under ₹20,000. So, right now, the Poco F1 is the most affordable phone in India to come with a Snapdragon 845. Before this, the Asus ZenFone 5Z was previously the most affordable phone to rock Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line mobile processor.

Xiaomi’s Poco doesn’t really provide a trail of launch offers. However, even the limited ones they have offered are quite lucrative. The Poco F1 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 20,999. This is for the base 6GB RAM and 64GB storage version. There’s also a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version that would sell for ₹23,999, alongside a top-tier version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage that would again cost around ₹28,999. The color variants for all these versions lists black, blue and red. Lastly, Poco also has a special armored edition of the Poco F1 that would ship with a Kevlar back, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The armored edition of the Poco F1 would again sell for ₹29,999.

For the first sale, which would be hosted on Flipkart and Mi.com in on August 29, Xiaomi’s Poco would be offering a flat ₹1,000 cashback on all the variants of the Poco F1, provided that the phone is brought using an HDFC bank credit or debit card. This would again bring down the price of the Poco F1 to ₹19,999, ₹22,999, ₹27,999 and ₹28,999 respectively.

In addition, the Poco F1 also has a Jio offer with up to ₹8,000 worth of benefits and 6TB of high-speed data.

Regarding the other specs and features, the Poco F1 boasts of a 6.18-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The dual-SIM Poco F1 runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6 software with a customized Poco launcher.

On the optics front, the Poco F1 comes with a dual camera system on the rear consisting of one 12MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and another 5MP sensor for depth sensing. The front camera is of 20MP with support for portrait selfies. The Poco F1 is further backed by a massive 4,000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. The phone charges via USB Type-C.
